Bobby Hutchens
Robert Hutchens Jr. (born April 15, 1960) is an American former professional stock car racing driver, team owner, chew chief, and race engineer. He is the father of Trey Hutchens, who currently competes part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and whom he currently serve as a crew chief for. Hutchens is best known for his involvement in the development of the Hutchens device, which was named after him, that was in use in NASCAR from 2001 to 2004. The device was banned by NASCAR in January 2005, due to it failing SFI Foundation safety tests. He was also the general manager for Richard Childress Racing during the time, a position he held since 1989. He was also the senior vice president of competition for Dale Earnhardt Inc. until the end of 2008, where he joined the newly formed Stewart–Haas Racing, where he served as the competition director for the team until his release midway through the 2011 season. Winston-Salem is a city in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States, and its county seat. NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour
The Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams (SMART) Tour is a Modified stock car racing series racing in the Southeastern region of The United States. The series began in 1989, NASCAR took over the series in 2005. During its time as a NASCAR sanctioned series it followed identical regulations to the Northern NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. The series merged with the Northern Modified Tour in 2017 bringing an end to the series after almost 30 years. The series came back in late 2020 without NASCAR sanction under the SMART Tour name and ran its first full season since 2004 in 2021 with the likes of Bobby Labonte and Ryan Preece competing. Claremont Speedway
The Claremont Speedway was a racing circuit in the grounds of the Claremont Showground in the suburb of Claremont in Western Australia's capital city of Perth. The speedway held its first meeting on 14 May 1927, and its final meeting on 31 March 2000. History Barriers and fences were improved over time to prevent out of control vehicles from entering the spectator areas. Riverhead Raceway
Riverhead Raceway is a oval race track with a Figure 8 course, located in Riverhead, New York. It is the only auto racing venue on Long Island since Westhampton Raceway closed down in 2003. It started being built in 1949 and opened as a dirt track in 1951, before permanently changing to asphalt in 1955. The raceway was also well known for featuring a towering statue of a Native American, dubbed "Chief Running Fair", at its entrance until it was destroyed in 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy but rebuilt by Christmas and still standing at its original location. Events Riverhead Raceway has seven racing divisions: Modified, Riverhead Modified Crate Figure Eight, Late Model, Blunderbust, Super Pro Truck, and Legends.
