Bobby Davidson
Robert Holley "Bobby" Davidson (19 July 1928 – 17 December 1993) was a Scottish football referee who also operated for FIFA. Career He was Scotland's representative at the 1962, 1970 and 1974 World Cups. He additionally took charge of the match between England and the Rest of the World in October 1963 which celebrated the centenary of The Football Association, and refereed the 1975 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final between Dynamo Kiev and Ferencváros. Davidson refereed four matches over his World Cup career; two games in 1962, and a single game in each of the other competitions. In the 1962 tournament in Chile, he took charge of the Group B match between Italy and West Germany on 31 May 1962, plus West Germany against Chile on 6 June 1962, in the same group. Assistant Referee (association Football)
In association football, an assistant referee (previously known as a linesman or lineswoman) is an official empowered with assisting the referee in enforcing the Laws of the Game during a match. Although assistants are not required under the Laws, at most organised levels of football the match officiating crew consists of the referee and at least two assistant referees. The responsibilities of the various assistant referees are listed in Law 6, "The Other Match Officials". In the current Laws the term "assistant referee" technically refers only to the two officials who generally patrol the touchlines, with the wider range of assistants to the referee given other titles. Soviet Union National Football Team
The Soviet Union national football team ( rus, сбо́рная СССР по футбо́лу, r=sbórnaya SSSR po futbólu) was the national football team of the former Soviet Union. After the breakup of the Union the team was transformed into the CIS national football team. Nikolay Latyshev
Nikolay Gavrilovich Latyshev (russian: Николай Гаврилович Латышев; November 22, 1913 – February 18, 1999) was the referee in the 1962 FIFA World Cup Final staged in Santiago, Chile, Santiago between Brazil and Czechoslovakia. He was the first FIFA referee from the Soviet Union (since 1952), as well as the first Soviet to be appointed to officiate in a World Cup final.
