Manor House Hotel
The Manor House is a 17th-century country house hotel in Castle Combe, Wiltshire in the south of England. History The Manor House is noteworthy for several reasons throughout history. Its land is the site of a Norman castle settlement which hosted a number of Lords, the most famous of whom was Sir John Oldcastle, the figure on which the character of Sir John Falstaff is based in the late 16th-century Shakespeare play ''Henry IV, Part 1''. It was the home of English geologist and political economist George Poulett Scrope in the 19th century. Richmond Marathon
The Allianz Partners Richmond Marathon is an annual marathon foot-race held in Richmond, Virginia, USA. It was established in 1978 and has been run every year since. It was known as the ''Richmond Newspapers Marathon'' until 1997 and then as SunTrust Richmond Marathon until 2011. Sports Backers produces the event and serves as the non-profit beneficiary of the event. The event supports efforts to make running accessible to Richmond area youth through the Kids Run RVA program. The Anthem Richmond Marathon celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2017. The marathon commences at 6th & Broad Streets and concludes at 5th and Tredegar streets on Richmond's historic riverfront. Beginning downtown, moving through the VCU campus down to Monument Avenue and through the historic fan district, the race then takes you down to Riverside Drive where you are parallel to the waterfront. Bobbie Allen known professionally as Young Summer, is an American singer, songwriter based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Her first studio album, ''Siren'', was released in August 2014. The first single "Alright" from her follow-up EP, ''You Would Have Loved It Here'', was released in June 2016 to rave reviews. She lists Karen Carpenter, Carole King, David Byrne, David Bowie,and Prince as influences. Allen has also made a name for herself as a prolific co-writer, co-writing Echosmith's song, “Goodbye,” the lead single from their second studio album, '' Inside a Dream,'' and many more. In 2019, Allen covered "Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand.
