Bob Ramsay (footballer)
Daniel Robertson Ramsay (1864 – before 1945) was an English professional footballer who played in the English Football League for Stoke, Northwich Victoria and Burslem Port Vale. He played in Stoke's first ever Football league team. Career Stoke Ramsay joined Burslem Port Vale in April 1886 and played regular football until moving to Stoke in August 1888. He made his first-team debut on 8 September 1888, at wing-half for Stoke in a 2–0 defeat by West Bromwich Albion at the Victoria Ground. After going 21 games without scoring in 1888–89, as the "Potters" finished bottom of the English Football League in the first ever season of the competition, he scored the club's first league hat-trick in a 7–1 win over Accrington at the Victoria Ground. He scored a total of five goals in 26 appearances in 1889–90, having hit the net against Burnley and Old Westminsters. Later career He then played for Newton Heath and West Manchester, before joining Northwich Victoria in 1892. ...

Bob Ramsey is a retired American soccer player. He spent time in the American Soccer League, Major Indoor Soccer League and American Indoor Soccer Association. Ramsey attended the University of Washington, playing on the men's soccer team in 1976 and 1977. In 1981, he signed with the Pittsburgh Spirit of the Major Indoor Soccer League where he played for three seasons. In 1983, he played the summer with the Pennsylvania Stoners of the American Soccer League. Robert "Bob" Ramsey (born 1947) is an American politician. He serves as a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for district 20, encompassing parts of Blount County, Tennessee. Biography Early life He was born on March 13, 1947. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee and a D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Career He works as a dentist. He is a state representative for the 20th District of Tennessee, having been reelected in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020.
