Bob Nash (American Football)
Robert Arthur “Nasty” Nash (December 16, 1892 – February 1, 1977) was an Irish- American professional football player who played in the American Professional Football Association (APFA) for the Akron Pros, Buffalo All-Americans, Rochester Jeffersons and New York Giants. Prior to joining the AFPA, Nash played in the "Ohio League" for the Massillon Tigers. He was considered by sports historians as one of the greatest offensive tackles of his era. Bob Nash (basketball)
Robert Lee Nash (born August 24, 1950) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He played college basketball for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors and was the ninth overall pick in the 1972 NBA draft. Nash played six seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Detroit Pistons and Kansas City Kings. He also played in the American Basketball Association with the San Diego Conquistadors and the Continental Basketball Association with the Hawaii Volcanos for one season each. After his playing career, Nash served as an assistant coach for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors for twenty years. He was appointed as head coach in 2007 and served for three seasons. Nash relocated to Japan in 2010 and served as the head coach of the Saitama Broncos, Toyama Grouses and Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka. Robert Lucas Nash (June 1846 – 26 February 1920), commonly referred to as R. L. Nash, was a journalist and writer on economics and financial subjects in Australia. History Nash was born in Bristol, England, and educated at the Bristol Grammar School. He was from 1864 a regular contributor to ''The Economist'' magazine and managing editor of the ''British Australasian'', from which he retired to become economics editor of the Sydney ''Daily Telegraph'', the first such appointment in Australia. He arrived in Sydney by the R.M.S. ''Himalaya'' in February 1893. His advice was sought by George Dibbs during the depression of the 1890s, and subsequently by premiers of the various States, and by the Federal Convention when framing the Constitution. He died suddenly and his remains buried at Waverley Cemetery. Robert Henry Nash (22 April 1884 – 16 June 1958) was a leading Australian rules footballer who was captain of the Collingwood Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL), and captain-coach of the Footscray Football Club in the Victorian Football Association (VFA). Family The son of Michael Joseph "Mick" Nash (1862–1939), who played for Carlton when it was part of the VFA, and Mary Ann (a.k.a.
