Bob Ligashesky
Bob Ligashesky (born June 2, 1962) is an American football coach. He is the special teams coordinator at the University of Minnesota. Ligashesky has been as assistant coach with several teams in the National Football League (NFL). Playing career Ligashesky was a linebacker for the Sto-Rox High School Vikings. He was a three-year letter winner as a defensive back at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He graduated from IUP in 1985. Coaching career Ligashesky has coached for the Jacksonville Jaguars (2004) and the St. Louis Rams (2005–2006) of the National Football League (NFL). Ligashesky was hired on January 29, 2007, as the Pittsburgh Steelers special teams coach after Kevin Spencer left to coach for the Arizona Cardinals. The Minnesota Golden Gophers football team represents the University of Minnesota in college football at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision level. Mike Tomlin
Michael Pettaway Tomlin (born March 15, 1972) is an American professional American football, football coach who is the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL). Since joining the Steelers in 2007, he has led the team to 12 playoff appearances, seven division titles, three AFC Championship Games, two Super Bowl appearances, and a title in Super Bowl XLIII. At age 36, Tomlin became the youngest head coach to win the Super Bowl, a record which was later broken by Sean McVay in Super Bowl LVI. Tomlin holds the record for most consecutive non-losing seasons to begin a coaching career with 18 and has never had a losing season. Kevin Spencer (football Coach)
Kevin Spencer (born November 2, 1953) is an American football coach. Coaching career Early years In 1975, Spencer coached wrestling and lacrosse at the State University of New York as a graduate assistant. From 1976 to 1979 he coached at Detroit County Day High School in Birmingham, Michigan. Spencer spent the next two years as a graduate assistant at Cornell University. After coaching for one season at Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland, Spencer received a job coaching at Ithaca College. From 1981 to 1985, he was the head freshman coach and in 1986 he served as the offensive coordinator. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. In American football, the specific role that a player takes on the field is referred to as their position. Under the modern rules of American football, both teams are allowed 11 players on the field at one time and have "unlimited free substitutions", meaning that they may change any number of players during any dead ball situation.
