Robert Clifford Levy, Jr. is a Canadian politician and judge. He represented the electoral district of Kings South in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1984 to 1988. He was a member of the Nova Scotia New Democratic Party. Early life and education Levy graduated from Acadia University in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and subsequently from Dalhousie Law School in 1971 with a Bachelor of Laws. Political career Levy first attempted to enter politics in the 1979 federal election, finishing third as the New Democratic Party candidate in Annapolis Valley—Hants. He ran again in the 1980 federal election, but again finished third. In the 1981 provincial election, Levy ran in the Kings North riding, placing second behind Progressive Conservative incumbent Edward Twohig. Bob Levy (born August 12, 1962) is an American stand-up comedian, radio personality, writer, actor, and former semi-professional wrestler. He is the host of '' The Bob Levy Show '' and the '' Out of the Coffin'' podcast, and co-host of Kevin Brennan's Misery Loves Company podcast. Early life Levy was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Staten Island at age six. He dropped out of high school after six years and worked several jobs, including landscaping and painting. For a brief period, he was a semi-professional wrestler under the name "Heartbreaker" Bobby Slayer. Career ''The Howard Stern Show'' (1990-2010) Levy wasn't a fan of comedy until he started listening to '' The Howard Stern Show'' in 1990, for which he started to send jokes and song parodies that he had written. Robert W. Levy, Sr., known as Bob Levy (born May 16, 1947, in Atlantic City, New Jersey), is a Democratic politician and the former Mayor of Atlantic City, New Jersey. In September 2007, Levy disappeared from Atlantic City without telling the public or the press why he was leaving. His sudden absence sparked a controversy over who should become the acting mayor of Atlantic City. On October 10, 2007, attorneys for Levy announced his resignation, effective immediately. Early life Levy is a lifelong resident of Atlantic City. He became a lifeguard in 1960 and married in 1964 after graduating from Atlantic City High School.
