Bob Holland
Robert George Holland (19 October 1946 – 17 September 2017) was a New South Wales and Australian cricketer. He was, because of his surname, nicknamed "Dutchy". Holland, who spent the majority of his cricketing life in Newcastle, was a late bloomer, and his Test debut aged 38 made him the oldest Australian debutant in more than half a century. It was not until the 1978–79 season, aged 32, that the New South Wales selectors called up Holland to continue the state’s long tradition of leg spin bowling. He quickly formed an integral part of the bowling attack that made the state the dominant domestic team in the Sheffield Shield in the 1980s. Forming a spin-oriented attack with Murray Bennett (left-arm orthodox) and Greg Matthews (off spin), Holland was part of the team that won the Sheffield Shield in 1982–83, 1984–85 and 1985–86. Camperdown is an inner western suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The 1982–83 Sheffield Shield season was the 81st season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition of Australia. Western Australia topped the regular league ladder but New South Wales won the title. Tom Hogan
Tom George Hogan (born 23 September 1956) is a former Australian cricketer. Hogan was a left arm spinner who played in seven Tests and 16 One Day Internationals for Australia in 1983 and 1984. Career Hogan made his debut for Western Australia in 1981–82. In his first Shield game he earned figures of 0-77 against Victoria in a game wheere Julian Wiener and Jeff Moss both scored double centuries. Hogan's second game was more successful for him, taking 4-64 against Tasmania and helping bowl WA to a victory. In his third game, against Victoria, Hogan took six wickets and scored 70. Hogan took 20 wickets at 36.75 for the 1981-82 season. In a McDonald's Cup match against Victoria, Hogan's innings of 25 runs off 21 balls also helped WA win a narrow run chase. In cricket, a five-wicket haul (also known as a "five–for" or "fifer") occurs when a bowler takes five or more wickets in a single innings. Graeme Beard
Graeme Robert Beard (born 19 August 1950) is a former Australian cricketer who played in three Test matches and two One Day Internationals in 1980 and 1981. Biography Beard was born in the Sydney suburb of Auburn. He made his debut for New South Wales in 1975 against the touring West Indies cricket team, playing as a batsman and scoring 0 and 0. David Hourn
David Hourn (born 9 September 1949) is a former Australian cricketer. He played 44 first-class matches for New South Wales between 1970/71 and 1981/82. Hourn spun the ball sharply, especially when he bowled his wrong 'un, and could beat the best batsmen. His best seasons came in 1977-78 (49 wickets at 21.97) and 1978-79 (42 wickets at 31.71). Even though Australia's spin stocks had been depleted by defections to World Series Cricket, Hourn was not picked for any Australian teams, the selectors preferring Tony Mann, Bruce Yardley, Jim Higgs and Peter Sleep. Colin Leslie McCool (9 December 1916 – 5 April 1986) was an Australian cricketer who played in 14 Test cricket, Test matches between 1946 and 1950.
