Bob Hall (comics)
Robert "Bob" Hall (October 16, 1944) is an American comics artist and writer as well as a playwright and theatre director. He is the co-creator of the West Coast Avengers for Marvel Comics and has worked on such series as '' Armed and Dangerous'' and '' Shadowman'', which he both drew and wrote for Valiant Comics. Biography Education Hall studied theater at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and earned a bachelor's and master's degree there. Moving to New York in the early 1970s, he took courses at John Buscema's school of comic art and The New School. Comics Hall began working in the comics industry in 1974 and drew horror stories for Charlton Comics. He soon moved to Marvel Comics and drew ''The Champions'' and '' Super-Villain Team-Up''. Shadowman (comics)
Shadowman is a fictional superhero who appears in comic books published by Valiant Comics. The character debuted in ''Shadowman'' #1 (May 1992), created by writers Jim Shooter and Steve Englehart, and artist David Lapham. Shadowman appears in his own series and video games, as well as numerous other Valiant comics. Shadowman is a lineage and four characters have taken up the mantle thus far in the comics and video games. The series protagonist is Jack Boniface. Since his introduction, Shadowman has been a key character in the Valiant Universe and has sold over 5.3 million copies to date, with 80 issues published. Super-Villain Team-Up
''Super-Villain Team-Up'' is the name of two American comic book series published by Marvel Comics. Both series featured supervillains as the protagonists. Publication history The first series started in 1975 with two giant-size issues before launching as a regular series, and was mostly bi-monthly during its existence. It initially teamed up Doctor Doom and the Namor, Sub-Mariner, who had lost his own series, from which it picked up the unresolved plots, especially that of the comatose Homo mermanus, Atlanteans. After a succession of writers and artists and a crossover with ''The Avengers (comic book), The Avengers'', the plot gets resolved in issue #13 when Doctor Doom revives the Atlanteans, thus dissolving his alliance with the Sub-Mariner. ''Chase'' is a comic book series published by DC Comics. It was written by Dan Curtis Johnson, illustrated by J.H. Williams III and inked by Mick Gray. It lasted ten issues (including a special DC One Million, #1,000,000 issue). "Bullpen Bulletins" (originally titled "Marvel Bullpen Bulletins") was the news and information page that appeared in most regular monthly comic books from Marvel Comics. In various incarnations since its inception in 1965 until its demise in 2001, it included previews of upcoming Marvel publications (the "Mighty Marvel Checklist"), profiles of Marvel staff members, and a monthly column written by Stan Lee known as "Stan's Soapbox" or "Stan Lee's Soapbox".
