Bob Elix
Bob Elix AM ASM is a former Australian rules footballer with Port Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), a long time official with the Northern Territory Football League (NTFL) and former longserving member of the Darwin City Council. Career Elix played on the half-back flank for Port Adelaide when they won the 1965 SANFL Grand Final against Sturt Football Club. His career as a SANFL player ended when he broke his leg during the Anzac Day match. In June 1969 Elix moved to Darwin, where he was appointed captain/coach of NTFL club Darwin for the 1970/71 season. A knee injury forced his playing retirement, and Elix switched to coaching fellow NTFL club Waratah Football Club">Waratah, taking them to premiers in 1976/77, with Queen Elizabeth II a spectator at the grand final. The Order of Australia is an Australian honours and awards system, Australian honour that recognises Australian citizens and other persons for outstanding achievement and service. Jack Titus
Jack "Skinny" Titus (9 March 1908 – 19 April 1978) was an Australian rules football player who played in the Victorian Football League (VFL) between 1926 and 1943 for the Richmond Football Club. In the 1930s, Titus was one of the great forwards who regularly thrilled the crowds with his goalkicking feats. A lightly built player who seemed at first glance to be too frail for the robust game of Australian football, Titus proved to be one of the great survivors of the game as he set the record for durability (most consecutive games played) that remained unbeaten for nearly a century. Wayne Jackson (born 16 April 1944) is best known for his tenure as the CEO of the Australian Football League (AFL) from 1996 to 2003. Jackson attended Prince Alfred College and completed a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Adelaide, where he played for Adelaide University Football Club in the South Australian Amateur Football League (SAAFL) from 1962-64. SANFL Jackson played 71 games for West Torrens Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) from 1965 to 1971 before coaching the West Torrens reserves team in 1972 and the West Torrens senior and reserves teams in 1974. Northern Territory Football Club
The Northern Territory Football Club, nicknamed NT Thunder, was a Northern Territory-based Australian rules football club that competed in the North East Australian Football League (NEAFL) between 2011 and 2019, and the VFL Women's between 2018 and 2019. The club was disbanded at the end of the 2019 season, however its identity continues to be seen in the under-19s Talent League Boys and Talent League Girls competitions, where the Northern Territory Academy plays a handful of games each year.
