Bob Egerton
Robert Henry "Bob" Egerton (born 6 March 1963) is a former Australian international rugby union player who won nine caps for the Wallabies in the space of 13 weeks in 1991. His final appearance came in the 1991 Rugby World Cup final at Twickenham, where he played for Australia in her 12–6 victory against England, bringing to an end a short international career. Early life Egerton was born in Lae, New Guinea. Robert spent a year overseas in California, playing high school football. As a highly touted 5 Star recruit, receiving numerous Division 1 offers from establishments such as Miami University and the Clemson Tigers, he moved back to Canberra attending Marist College Canberra and studied Agricultural Science at Sydney University (where his uncle was Dean of the Veterinary Faculty) during the 1980s. The Territory of New Guinea was an Australian-administered United Nations trust territory on the island of New Guinea from 1914 until 1975. In 1949, the Territory and the Territory of Papua were established in an administrative union by the name of the Territory of Papua and New Guinea. David Ian Campese, AM (born 21 October 1962), also known as Campo, is a former Australian rugby union player (1982-1996), who was capped by the Wallabies 101 times, and played 85 Tests at wing and 16 at fullback. Marty Roebuck (born 10 January 1965 in Lithgow, New South Wales) is an Australian former rugby union footballer who represented New South Wales Waratahs and the Australian Wallabies as a fullback. Early life and education Roebuck was educated at St Stanislaus College, Bathurst; the University of Sydney's Cumberland (Faculty of Health Sciences) Campus, Lidcombe; and University of Notre Dame Australia, Sydney, Darlinghurst. The Varsity Match
The Varsity Match is an annual rugby union fixture played between the universities of Oxford and Cambridge in England. The event began in 1872 with the first men's match, with interruptions only for the two World Wars. Since 1921, the game has been played at Twickenham Stadium, London. It is normally played in early December. Following the 140th match in 2022, Oxford have 62 wins, and Cambridge maintain the lead with 64; 14 games have ended in draws.
