Bob Constan
Bob Constan (born March 1, 1959) is a politician from the state of Michigan. He was a member of the Michigan State House of Representatives. A Democrat, he represented the 16th district in Wayne County, and includes the portions of Dearborn Heights, Garden City, Inkster and Allen Park. He currently sits on the City Council for the City of Dearborn Heights. Early life On March 1, 1959, Constan was born in Detroit, Michigan. Constan graduated from Annapolis High School in Dearborn Heights. Education Constan graduated from the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Career Constan practiced law as an attorney for 25 years, representing the Michigan Democratic Party on voter protection issues. He has served on the Michigan State Bar and the Dearborn Area Bar Association. Inkster, Michigan
Inkster is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. A western suburb of Detroit, Inkster is located about southwest of downtown Detroit. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 26,088. History The area was originally inhabited by Native Americans. It was settled by non-indigenous people in 1825. A post office named "Moulin Rouge" was established there in December 1857. Robert Inkster, a Scotsman born March 27, 1828, in Lerwick, Shetland, operated a steam sawmill on present-day Inkster Road near Michigan Avenue in the early 1860s. The post office was renamed "Inkster" in July 1863. The village had a station on the Michigan Central Railroad by 1878. The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law is the law school of the University of Detroit Mercy and is located in Downtown Detroit, Michigan across from the Renaissance Center. Founded in 1912, Detroit Mercy Law is a private Roman Catholic law school and has been ABA-accredited since 1933. The Law School has an annual enrollment of 612 students including 223 Nonresident Aliens, and currently has 67 faculty members (23 full-time, 44 adjunct).
