Bo Overton
Glenn "Bo" Overton (born July 9, 1960) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head women's basketball coach at Oklahoma Baptist University. Prior to OBU, he was coaching in the Women's Chinese Basketball Association. Early life and education Born in Ada, Oklahoma, Overton was the 1979 Oklahoma High School Basketball Player of the Year as a senior at Ada High School. Overton played at the University of Oklahoma from 1980 to 1983, and was a starting point guard. At the end of his career, he held school records for free throw percentage, assists and games played. Professional playing career He was selected by the Phoenix Suns in the 1983 NBA draft. He played for the Toronto Tornadoes of the Continental Basketball Association in the 1984–85 season, then was an assistant coach for that team, which by then moved to Pensacola, Florida, in the 1985–86 season. Great American Conference
The Great American Conference (GAC) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level, with headquarters located in Russellville, Arkansas. Athletic competition began play during the 2011–12 school year. Its twelve all-sports member schools are located in Arkansas and Oklahoma in the South Central United States. WBC Dynamo Kursk (russian: ЖБК «Динамо» Курск) is a Russian women's basketball club from Kursk playing in the Russian Premier League. They won their first FIBA Eurocup title in 2012. 2002 NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Tournament
The 2002 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament concluded on March 31, 2002 when Connecticut won the national title. Sherri Coale
Sherri Kay Coale (born January 19, 1965) is a retired college basketball coach. She was the head coach of the University of Oklahoma Sooners women's basketball team for 25 years, from 1996 to 2021. Coale was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. Personal Coale grew up in Healdton, Oklahoma and married Dane Scott Coale (born 1964) on June 20, 1987. The couple has two children, son Colton (born 1992) and daughter Chandler (born 1996). Coale has one brother, Jack. Their parents are Beverly Stash and Joe Buben. The La Crosse Bobcats were a Continental Basketball Association basketball team located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, from 1996 to the league's bankruptcy in February 2001. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position.
