Bokeh
In photography, bokeh ( or ; ) is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in out-of-focus parts of an image, whether foreground or background or both. It is created by using a wide aperture lens. Some photographers incorrectly restrict use of the term bokeh to the appearance of bright spots in the out-of-focus area caused by circles of confusion. Bokeh has also been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light". Differences in lens aberrations and aperture shape cause very different bokeh effects. Some lens designs blur the image in a way that is pleasing to the eye, while others produce distracting or unpleasant blurring ("good" and "bad" bokeh, respectively). Photographers may deliberately use a shallow focus technique to create images with prominent out-of-focus regions, accentuating their lens's bokeh. Unwritten Law Discography
American rock band Unwritten Law has released seven studio albums, two live albums, two EPs, two video albums, eleven singles, one demo, and thirteen music videos. Unwritten Law formed in 1990 in Poway, California with an initial lineup of singer Scott Russo, guitarists Steve Morris and Rob Brewer, bassist John Bell, and drummer Wade Youman. They released their six-song demo in 1992 and the EP '' Blurr'' in 1993. Their debut album '' Blue Room'' was released in 1994 through local label Red Eye Records. The band then signed to Epic Records, who re-released ''Blue Room'' and put out 1996's '' Oz Factor'', supported by singles for "Lame", " Denied", and "Superman", the latter of which became the band's first music video. Bell then left the group and the band signed to Interscope Records, bringing in Pivit bassist Micah Albao for the recording of 1998's '' Unwritten Law''. Bill Kovach
Bill Kovach (, born 1932) is an American journalist, former Washington bureau chief of ''The New York Times'', former editor of the '' Atlanta Journal-Constitution'', and co-author of the book ''The Elements of Journalism: What Newspeople Should Know and The Public Should Expect''. Biography Born in 1932 in East Tennessee to Albanian parents, Kovach planned, after attending college at East Tennessee State University, to go to graduate school in marine biology. Tom Rosenstiel is an American author, journalist, press critic, researcher and academic. He is the Eleanor Merrill Visiting Professor on the Future of Journalism at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. He was for the previous nine years the executive director of the American Press Institute. He is also a non-resident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. Rosenstiel was founder and for 16 years director of the Project for Excellence in Journalism (PEJ), a research organization that studies the news media and is part of the Pew Research Center in Washington, D.C.
