Blue Curry
Blue Curry (b. Nassau, Bahamas, Nassau, Bahamas, 1974) is a Bahamian artist living and working in London England, London, specialising in sculptural Assemblage (art), assemblage and installation art. Education Curry is a graduate of the MFA Fine Art program at Goldsmiths College, London, where his final show was listed as one of the ten best in the country by a former editor of ''Art Review''. Career Curry was profiled in a BBC documentary ''Goldsmiths: But is it Art?'' which charted his progress through art college and his experiences on the London contemporary art scene. In one of his earliest works, Curry transported almost a ton of sand to Germany for exhibition and then returned it to the beach it came from in the Bahamas for the group show "Funky Nassau" at the Nassauischer Art Association, Germany. Wolfson College, Cambridge
Wolfson College () is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England. The majority of students at the college are postgraduates. The college also admits "mature" undergraduates (aged 21 and above), with around 15% of students studying undergraduate degree courses at the university. The college was founded in 1965 as "University College", but was refounded as Wolfson College in 1973 in recognition of a benefaction of the Wolfson Foundation. Wolfson is located to the south-west of Cambridge city centre. Studio Voltaire is a non-profit gallery and artist studios based in Clapham, South London. The organisation focuses on contemporary arts, staging a public programme of exhibitions, performances, and live events. Cory Arcangel
Cory Arcangel (born May 25, 1978) is an American post-conceptual artist who makes work in many different media, including drawing, music, video, performance art, and video game modifications, for which he is best known. Arcangel often uses the artistic strategy of appropriation, creatively reusing existing materials such as dancing stands, Photoshop gradients and YouTube videos to create new works of art. His work explores the relationship between digital technology and pop culture. He is a recipient of a 2006 Creative Capital Emerging Fields Award and the 2015 Kino der Kunst Award for Filmic Oeuvre. The Portland Museum of Art, or PMA, is the largest and oldest public art institution in Maine. Founded as the Portland Society of Art in 1882.
