Bloom (Audio Adrenaline Album)
''Bloom'' is the third studio album released by Audio Adrenaline. In 1996, the album was certified Gold by RIAA. Concept ''Bloom'' represented a departure from the band's previous efforts into a more straightforward rock with hints of grunge music. According to the band, both the title and the music reflects the way they've matured and "grown into a new phase of life". Recording ''Bloom'' was recorded in 1995 at various studios in Tennessee: Ardent Recordings in Memphis, The Salt Mine in Brentwood, and House of Insomnia in Franklin. Producer, John Hampton, was in charge of the recording and mixing. The mastering was done by Ken Love at MasterMix, Nashville, Tennessee. Audio Adrenaline
Audio Adrenaline was an American Christian rock band that formed in 1986 at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. The band gained recognition during the 1990s and received two Grammy Awards and multiple Dove Awards. Audio Adrenaline were regular performers at the annual Creation Festival, Spirit West Coast festival, Agape Music Festival, and Alive Festival. In 2007, the group disbanded due to lead singer Mark Stuart's spasmodic dysphonia. After a hiatus, the band reformed in 2012 with only bassist Will McGinniss returning from the original line-up. The new Audio Adrenaline was fronted by Kevin Max, formerly of DC Talk, as the new lead vocalist. This new line-up released '' Kings & Queens'' on March 12, 2013. ''Hit Parade'' is Audio Adrenaline's first greatest hits album. It features fifteen hits from the band's previous albums, plus two new songs: "Will Not Fade" and "One Like You". Reception The album received favorable reviews from critics with John DiBiase, of Jesus Freak Hideout, giving it 4.5 stars out of 5. DiBiase classified it as "one of the best and most solid collections" he has heard while calling the two new songs as "superb". Dacia Blodgett-Williams, of AllMusic, gave the album 3 stars out of 5, writing that "while no doubt original in many aspects, all of Audio Adrenaline's music on this particular album began to sound alike after several tracks." An outtake is a portion of a work (usually a film or music Video recording, recording) that is removed in the editing process and not included in the work's final, publicly released version. Daniel Earl Hartman (December 8, 1950 – March 22, 1994) was an American pop rock musician, multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer, and songwriter and original frontman for several bands, including the Soploids, Mak and the Turnarounds, Our Wringer, Last Wing, and Orion.
