Bloodpool (comics)
Bloodpool is a superhero team created by comics creator Rob Liefeld.''Bloodpool Special'' #1 (March 1996) Their self-titled comic book series was published by Image Comics in 1996 through Liefeld's Extreme Studios. The team's roster includes Rubble, Task, Seoul, Psilence, Wylder, and Fusion. The underage superheroes were recruited by the government for eventual inclusion in the prestigious Youngblood team. Pat Lee (comics Illustrator)
Patrick Lee (born June 28, 1975) is a Canadian comic book artist, publisher, former president, and co-founder of the now-defunct Dreamwave Productions. 2008-05-29. Biography Lee began his career in the comic book industry by sending sample artworks to Marvel and DC editors after graduating high school at the age of 16, but they did not take any interest in his artwork. In 1994, he caught the attention of Image Comics co-founder Rob Liefeld at a convention in Toronto, Canada. Four months later, he was hired by Image Comics and went to train at Extreme Studios. There he practiced his speed, which greatly influenced his future works. In an interview with Wizard he stated, "When I was working there, I'd have work slapped down at me. It's gotta be done today. I'd hear, and I figured, okay, this is something I've gotta get used to." Extreme Studios
Awesome Comics or Awesome Entertainment (also known as Awesome-Hyperwerks when briefly joined with Hyperwerks Entertainment) was an American comic book studio formed in 1997 by Rob Liefeld following his expulsion from Image Comics, a company he co-founded five years prior. Awesome Comics was the successor of Extreme Studios and Maximum Press, Liefeld's imprints at Image, and was followed by his new company Arcade Comics upon its closure in 2000. Netflix was in talks to adapt the characters for a series of films in 2018 but the deal collapsed. Rob Liefeld
Robert Liefeld (; born October 3, 1967) is an American comic book creator. A prominent writer and artist in the 1990s, he is known for co-creating the character Cable (comics), Cable with writer Louise Simonson and the character Deadpool with writer Fabian Nicieza. In the early 1990s, Liefeld gained popularity due to his work on Marvel Comics' ''The New Mutants (comic book), The New Mutants'' and later ''X-Force (comic book), X-Force''. Mary Jo Duffy (born February 9, 1954) is an American comic book editor and writer, known for her work for Marvel Comics in the 1980s and DC Comics and Image Comics in the 1990s. Biography A native of the New York City area, Duffy attended Wellesley College. As a young woman, she had letters published in Marvel Comics letter columns in the mid-1970s. She made an in-comic appearance as an autograph seeker in ''Iron Man'' #103 (Oct. 1977). Her first credit as editor appeared in ''The Defenders'' #61 cover dated July 1978. Youngblood is a superhero team starring in their self-titled comic book series, created by writer/artist Rob Liefeld.
