Blood Cultures (band)
Blood Cultures is an American experimental indie pop group from New Jersey. First known as a single person and now recognized as a collective (a quartet as of 2019), the band's members remain anonymous, their faces obscured by black hoods in all photos. As they have explained, their anonymity is crucial to their ethos and aims "to keep the relationship between the listener and the music as pure as possible". Hailed as some of the most exciting music coming out of New York by ''NME'' in 2018, Blood Cultures' genre-bending sound is often characterized as psychedelic pop, electropop, and chillwave. LCD Soundsystem is an American Dance-punk#Contemporary dance-punk, dance-punk revival band from Brooklyn, Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2002 by James Murphy (electronic musician), James Murphy, of DFA Records. Lo-fi (also typeset as lofi or low-fi; short for low fidelity) is a music or production quality in which elements usually regarded as imperfections in the context of a recording or performance are present, sometimes as a deliberate stylistic choice. Inua Marc Mohammed Onore de Ellams II (born 23 October 1984) is a Nigerian-born British poet, playwright and performer. He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2023 Birthday Honours for services to the arts. Jordana Nye ( ) (born June 22, 2000), known mononymously as simply Jordana, is an American bedroom pop musician. Early life Nye's father was an organist at her local church. Upon being recommended by her father, Nye decided to take up an instrument, starting on violin before moving to guitar.
