Blood Creek
''Blood Creek'' (previously known as ''Creek'' and ''Town Creek'') is a 2009 American supernatural horror thriller film directed by Joel Schumacher and written by David Kajganich. It stars Dominic Purcell and Henry Cavill as brothers on a mission of revenge who become trapped in a harrowing occult experiment dating back to the Third Reich. The film had a limited theatrical release on September 18, 2009. Plot In 1936, a German professor, Richard Wirth, is hosted by the Wollners, a family of German immigrants in West Virginia. The Wollners believe him to be a visiting scholar, but Wirth turns out to be a Nazi occultist who seeks a Viking runestone buried on their property. Joel Schumacher
Joel T. Schumacher (; August 29, 1939 – June 22, 2020) was an American film director, producer and screenwriter. Raised in New York City by his mother, Schumacher graduated from Parsons School of Design and originally became a fashion designer. He first entered filmmaking as a production and costume designer before gaining writing credits on ''Car Wash (film), Car Wash'', ''Sparkle (1976 film), Sparkle'', and ''The Wiz (film), The Wiz''. Schumacher received little attention for his first theatrically released films, ''The Incredible Shrinking Woman'' and ''D.C. Peter Alan Care (born 28 April 1953) is an English director of music videos, commercials and film. He has directed music videos for Cabaret Voltaire, R.E.M., Bruce Springsteen, Roy Orbison, Depeche Mode and New Order, amongst others.
