Blood Brothers (2004 Film)
''Jiang Hu'' is a 2004 Hong Kong crime drama film revolving around Hong Kong gangs. It was directed by Wong Ching-po and stars Andy Lau and Jacky Cheung, in their second collaboration after '' As Tears Go By'', which is regarded as a thematic sequel to the latter. The film is also known as ''Blood Brothers'' in Singapore, and ''Triad Underworld'' in the United States. Plot Jiang Hu tells two stories simultaneously. The first is about a gang leader, Mr. Hung (played by Andy Lau), and the tensions that arise between him and his old friend and second-in-command, Lefty (played by Jacky Cheung), due to Mr. Hung's wife's recent childbirth. Eric Tsang Chi-wai ( zh, t=曾志偉; born 14 April 1953) is a Hong Kong actor, film director, producer, and television host, best known for hosting the variety show ''Super Trio series'' on the Hong Kong television network Television Broadcasts Limited, TVB over 18 years. Lam Suet (; born 1964), or Lin Xue, is a Hong Kong film actor. Life and career Lam was born in Tianjin, and came to Hong Kong as a youth in 1979 to receive inheritance money left by his grandfather. Soon after, all the money had been squandered and Lam had to work various odd jobs to make a living. In the mid-eighties he got employment on movie sets through the help of friends.
