Blockheads are a French grindcore band. Band history Blockheads were formed in 1992 and released their first demo, ''Haaashaastaak'', in 1993. In 1995, they released their first studio album, ''Last Tribes'', and another album, ''Watch Out'', followed in 1998. This achievement was made after the band had experienced some line-up difficulties. In 2000, Blockheads signed with Bones Brigade, a label which specializes in extreme music. Their first two albums were re-released together on Bones Brigade under the title, ''From Womb to Genocide''. A third album was released in 2001, ''Human Parade,'' and in the next few years, the band participated in numerous festivals, causing them to become known as an important grindcore band in the European extreme music scene. Bones Brigade
Powell Peralta is an American skateboard company founded by George Powell and Stacy Peralta in 1978. The company rose to prominence in the 1980s as skateboarding began maturing as a sport. The company featured the Bones Brigade, a team featuring the era's top competitors. Peralta left the company in 1991 and Powell continued to produce skateboard equipment as Powell, Bones Bearings and RollerBones. The two company founders reunited to produce the company's now classic inventory under the name Powell Classic. Napalm Death are an English grindcore band formed in Meriden, West Midlands, in 1981. None of the band's original members have been in the group since 1986, but since ''Utopia Banished'' (1992), the lineup of bassist Shane Embury, guitarist Mitch Harris, drummer Danny Herrera and lead vocalist Barney Greenway, Mark "Barney" Greenway has remained consistent through most of the band's career. Nasum
Nasum (pronounced 'nah-zumm') was a Swedish grindcore band from Örebro, formed in 1992. The band released four studio albums and developed into "one of that country's premier metal acts". They disbanded after the December 2004 tsunami killed the band's frontman, Mieszko Talarczyk. In 2012, Nasum reunited with Rotten Sound frontman Keijo Niinimaa taking the place of Talarczyk, for a one-off tour to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary. Biography Nasum was formed in 1992 by Anders Jakobson (guitar) and Rickard Alriksson (drums/vocals), two former members of the band Necrony. The band's name, Latin for "nose", was taken from the horror film ''Flesh for Frankenstein.'' The record label of Necrony offered Nasum a slot on a split 7-inch. Entombed is a Swedish death metal band formed in 1987 under the name of Nihilist. Entombed began their career as an early pioneer of Scandinavian death metal which initially differed from its American counterpart by its distinct "buzzsaw" guitar tone. Sick of It All is an American hardcore punk band formed in 1986 in Queens, New York City. The band's lineup consists of brothers Lou and Pete Koller on lead vocals and guitars respectively, Armand Majidi on drums, and Craig Setari on bass. Carcass are an English death metal band from Liverpool, formed in 1985. The band have gone through several line-up changes, leaving guitarist Bill Steer and bassist-vocalist Jeff Walker as the only constant members. They broke up in 1996, but reformed in 2007 without original drummer Ken Owen, for health reasons. Soulfly is an American heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 1997.
