Chris Rouleau, also known as Blaze Ya Dead Homie or simply Blaze (born April 27, 1976), is an American rapper from Mt. Clemens, Michigan. A representative of the hip hop subgenres gangsta rap and horrorcore, his stage persona is a resurrected gang member who had been killed in the late 1980s. Biography Pre-Psychopathic years (1993–1997) Rouleau began rapping at the age of 17, while in Romeo High School, and performed at local clubs on the east side of Detroit. Rouleau performed as a member of 2 Krazy Devils (with Skrapz) under the stage name Psycho C. Rouleau's first big performance was at the Ritz in Roseville Michigan, where he and James Lowery opened for House of Krazees. ''Blaze Ya Dead Homie'' is the self-titled debut extended play of American hip hop artist Blaze Ya Dead Homie. Released on July 25, 2000, the EP is Blaze's first release on Psychopathic Records. Produced by Twiztid and Fritz the Cat, ''Blaze Ya Dead Homie'' features appearances by Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid. Concept ''Blaze Ya Dead Homie'' establishes the character portrayed by the artist, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and provides basic background to his story. ''Pony Down (Prelude)'' is the debut EP by American hip hop duo Drive-By, which consists of Anybody Killa and Blaze Ya Dead Homie. It was released on October 4, 2005, under Psychopathic Records. Primarily produced by the Soopa Villainz (with the exception of Fritz the Cat producing "The Arrival"), the EP's sound is based on old school hip hop, which "throws back to classic bass tracks, from a time when trunks thumped and big bass bumped; an album that is straight rap patterns, with tight rhythm and loud sound." Psychopathic Rydas was an American hip hop group based in Detroit, Michigan. Formed in 1999 as a side project of Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid, the group consisted of Psychopathic Records-associated rappers performing under alternate stage names in the style of gangsta rap. Their best known lineup consisted of Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, Jamie Madrox, Monoxide Child and Blaze Ya Dead Homie.
