David Blatherwick (born 1960 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian artist and educator. Education He received a Bachelor of Arts in design from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in 1984, a Master of Fine Arts from Université du Québec à Montréal in 1989, and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine in 1990. David Blatherwick (diplomat)
Sir David Elliott Spiby Blatherwick, (born 13 July 1941), is a retired British diplomat. After joining the Foreign Office in 1964 he served in a number of diplomatic posts in Kuwait, Ireland, Egypt and at the United Nations in New York. He was appointed the British ambassador to Ireland from 1991 to 1995, and ambassador to Egypt from 1995 to 1999. Following his retirement he has served on the boards of a number of organisations. Education and career Born on 13 July 1941, he was educated at Lincoln School and Wadham College, Oxford and joined the Foreign Office in 1964. He attended the Middle East Centre for Arabic Studies from 1964 to 1966. Francis John Blatherwick, CM, OBC, CD, FRCP(C) (born September 11, 1944) was one of Canada's trailblazing leaders in public health and was the longest-serving Medical officer of health in Canada when he retired in 2007. Entry into public health Prior to coming to Vancouver, he was the Medical Health Officer in the Simon Fraser Health Unit for nine years. He received his MD from the University of Alberta in 1969. He then started in public health when he left a residency in Internal Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital in 1971 to set up the Pine Street Youth Clinic. Lily Blatherwick
Lily Blatherwick (1854–26 November 1934) was an English painter. Biography Blatherwick was born in Richmond upon Thames and exhibited her works from 1877 at the Royal Academy. Her father, Charles Blatherwick, was a doctor and keen amateur watercolourist who had been involved in the establishment of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour. In 1896 Blatherwick married the artist Archibald Standish Hartrick, who was the son of her fathers' second wife from her first marriage. The couple lived in Tresham in Gloustershire for ten years. There they redecorated the small village church, whilst both pursuing their artistic careers. They both had works shown at the Continental Gallery in 1901 and her painting ''Wintry Weather'' was included in the 1905 book '' Women Painters of the World''. Steven Scott Blatherwick (born 20 September 1973) is an English football coach and former footballer He played as a defender from 1991 to 2006. He spent much of his career playing for Chesterfield; however, he had previously played in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest. He also played in the Football League with Notts County, Wycombe Wanderers, Hereford United, Reading and Burnley.
