Blair Maesmore Campbell (20 August 1946 – 3 November 2020) was an Australian rules footballer and cricketer. Campbell played first-class cricket for Victoria and Tasmania as a slow left-arm wrist-spin bowler and right-handed batsman. The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers or colloquially the Tiges, is a professional Australian rules football team competing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Founded in 1885 in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond, Victoria, Richmond, the club competed in the Victorian Football League, Victorian Football Association (VFA) from 1885 to 1907, winning two premierships. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field, at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails (small sticks) balanced on three stumps. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the pre-eminent professional sports, professional competition of Australian rules football.
