Black Diamonds (EP)
''Black Diamonds'' is the debut EP by American metalcore band Issues (band), Issues released on November 13, 2012. Background The majority of the band's members originated from ex-members of Woe, Is Me, being Tyler Carter, Michael Bohn, Cory Ferris and Ben Ferris. After they left their previous band, they recorded and released this debut EP. Later in 2014, Josh Manuel replaced Case Snedecor on drums, moving on to record the full titled Issues album. The lead single, titled "King of Amarillo," was released on October 2, 2012, along with a lyric video. Critical reception AbsolutePunk stated that the sound of the album was very similar to Woe, Is Me's album Numbers (Woe, Is Me album), Number[s], although it had a 'twist', praising Tyler Carter's vocal ability, although called the rapping in the songs 'sour'. Issues (band)
Issues was an American metalcore band based in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 2012. The band's final lineup consisted of guitarist and vocalist AJ Rebollo, bassist and vocalist Skyler Acord, and drummer Josh Manuel. They were known for their combination of metalcore, nu metal, pop and contemporary R&B. Following original member Michael Bohn and Tyler Carter's departure from Woe, Is Me, the duo formed Issues with keyboardist Ben Ferris, bassist Cory Ferris, guitarist AJ Rebollo, and drummer Case Snedecor, subsequently signing to Rise Records. The Ferris brothers departed from the group prior to the release of the ''Black Diamonds'' EP, in 2012. Snedecor left the band in 2013 and was replaced by drummer Josh Manuel while Ben and Cory Ferris were replaced by keyboardist and disc jockey Tyler Acord and bassist Skyler Acord, respectively. Numbers (Woe, Is Me Album)
''Number ' is the debut studio album by American metalcore band Woe, Is Me, released on August 30, 2010 through Rise Records and its imprint division Velocity. A re-release of the record was released on July 16, 2012 with Andrew Paiano and Hance Alligood due to the departure of Tim Sherrill and Tyler Carter. ''Number ' was produced by Cameron Mizell in his Orlando, Florida hometown. The sole guest vocalist on the album is Jonny Craig. Release Upon the release of ''Number ', it charted at number 16 on ''Billboard''s Top Heatseekers chart, selling 1,700 copies in its first week. Two songs were released before the album itself: " Delinquents" on July 29, 2010, and "Mannequin Religion" on August 20, 2010. Turntablism is the art of manipulating sounds and creating new music, sound effects, mixes and other creative sounds and beats, typically by using two or more Phonograph, turntables and a cross fader-equipped DJ mixer. Screaming is an extended vocal technique that is popular in "aggressive" music genres such as heavy metal, punk rock, and noise music. Screamed vocals are usually harsh, loud and aggressive, used to create an angry, emotional or intense tone. Christopher Joseph Fronzak (born November 20, 1989), also known as Fronz or Fronzilla, is an American musician who is best known as the lead vocalist and founding member of the metalcore/rap metal band Attila. Aside from his work in Attila, he is also the manager of record label Stay Sick Recordings and clothing line Stay Sick Threads.
