Bjørn Lødemel
Bjørn Lødemel (born 19 August 1958) is a Norway, Norwegian politician and a member of the Conservative Party of Norway (Høyre). He was elected to the Stortinget from Sogn og Fjordane (Storting constituency), Sogn og Fjordane in 2009 Norwegian parliamentary election, 2009. He had been mayor of Hornindal Municipality since 1995, and a member of the council since 1991. He has also been regional council leader, and is the leader of Sogn og Fjordane Conservative Party. Lødemel has previously worked in business and the military, and has worked in factories and been a self-employed businessman. The Storting ( ; ) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Sogn og Fjordane () is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. It consists of the municipalities of Årdal, Askvoll, Aurland, Bremanger, Fjaler, Gloppen, Gulen, Høyanger, Hyllestad, Kinn, Lærdal, Luster, Sogndal, Solund, Stad, Stryn, Sunnfjord and Vik in the county of Vestland. 2009 Norwegian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Norway on 13 and 14 September 2009. Elections in Norway are held on a Monday in September, usually the second or third Monday, as determined by the king. Early voting was possible between 10 August and 11 September 2009, while some municipalities also held open voting on 13 September. Voters elected 169 members for the Storting, each for a four-year term. Voter turn-out in the 2009 general elections was 76.4%. Candidates were elected on party lists in each of the 19 counties. Hornindal Municipality
Hornindal is a List of former municipalities of Norway, former municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1867 until 1965 and then again from 1977 until its dissolution in 2020. It was located in the Districts of Norway, traditional district of Nordfjord. The area is now part of Volda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county. The administrative centre was the village of Grodås.
