Bjørn Hansen (journalist)
Bjørn Hansen (born 12 October 1938) is a Norwegian journalist. In Norway, he is well known as an experienced news presenter and correspondent, having worked for the Norwegian state-owned radio and television public broadcasting company, Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. Career Hansen was born in Tromsø and started as a newspaper journalist in ''Nordlys'' (1957–1960 and 1961–1963), '' Halden Arbeiderblad'' (1960–1961) and ''Arbeiderbladet''. For the latter he was a foreign correspondent in London. He was employed in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation in 1978. He was a correspondent for NRK in Washington, DC from 1991 to 1995. He presided over election debates, and has also appeared several times on CNN as well as other international news channels. From 2002 to 2007, he was the host for the Thursday night foreign news program ''Urix''. Tromsø
Tromsø (, , ; se, Romsa ; fkv, Tromssa; sv, Tromsö) is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Tromsø. Tromsø lies in Northern Norway. The municipality is the 21st largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Håvard Narum
Håvard Narum (born 23 June 1944) is a Norwegian journalist and author. Biography Born in Hov, Norway, Narum has degrees in political science, history and English from the University of Oslo. He started his career in journalism at '' Oppland Arbeiderblad'' in 1964, joining the Norwegian News Agency in 1969. Narum joined the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation in 1975, where he headed the international newsroom at '' Dagsnytt'' from 1984 to 1987. From 1987 to 1991 Narum was a news correspondent for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation in Washington, D.C. Returning to Norway, Narum headed the political newsroom at ''Dagsnytt'' from 1991 to 1997. NRK, an abbreviation of the Norwegian ''Norsk Rikskringkasting AS'', generally expressed in English as the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, is the Norwegian government-owned radio and television public broadcasting company, and the largest media organisation in Norway.
