Adam Stephen Birchall (born 2 December 1984) is a retired footballer who played as a forward and currently serves as Head Coach for the Arsenal U17 side as well as the assistant manager of the under-18s squad. Jack Birchall
John Birchall (born 1876) was an English footballer. He played for Blackpool and Blackburn Rovers. Career Birchall began his career with Liverpool in 1899 as a 23-year-old, but did not make any League appearances for the Anfield club. He joined Blackpool the following year and went on to make 86 League appearances and score three goals for ''the Seasiders''. He made his debut for the club in the opening League game of the 1900–01 season, a goalless draw at New Brighton Tower on 1 September. He went on to make a further 29 appearances that campaign, scoring twice. His first goal came in a 3–1 victory at Gainsborough Trinity on 5 January; the second in a 3–0 home win over Stockport County on 23 February. Edward Vivian Dearman Birchall (10 August 1884 – 10 August 1916), was an English philanthropist who died of wounds at the Battle of the Somme. He left a legacy of £1000 for the promotion of voluntary services. The money was used to help create, in 1919, the National Council of Social Services. It later became the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, an umbrella body for charities in England. Biography Birchall was born on July 16, 1923 of Irish heritage in Colchester, Connecticut and served in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. A lover of the circus, he performed as a freelance clown before being hired as an entertainer by KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City. Christopher Birchall CM (born 5 May 1984) is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He scored 21 goals in 322 league and cup appearances in a 16-year professional career, and scored four goals in 44 international matches. Forging his career with local club Port Vale, he earned worldwide recognition by playing at the 2006 FIFA World Cup for Trinidad and Tobago – the country of his mother's birth.
