Biollante
is a giant rose, human, and Godzilla mutant hybrid monster, or kaiju, who first appeared in Toho's 1989 film '' Godzilla vs. Biollante'' and has since appeared in numerous licensed video games, novels, and comic books. The creature is portrayed as a genetically engineered clone of Godzilla spliced with the genes of a rose plant and a human. As the character was created during the end of the Cold War and the wane in concerns over nuclear weapons represented by Godzilla, Biollante was conceived as a symbol of more contemporary controversies regarding genetic engineering. Chibi Godzilla Raids Again
is a Japanese short anime television series in Toho's ''Godzilla'' franchise. Produced by Pie in the Sky and Toho, the first season aired on TV Tokyo and on YouTube as a web series from April to June 2023 while the second season aired for one year from April 2024 to March 2025. Kazuki Ōmori
was a Japanese film director and screenwriter. Career Born in Osaka, Ōmori studied at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine and held a license to practice medicine. While in school, he began making films independently, with ''Kuraku naru made matenai!'' (1975), which featured Seijun Suzuki, receiving particularly high praise. His script "Orenji rōdo kyūkō" won the 3rd Kido Award for screenplays in 1977, and the next year he was able to film that in his professional debut. Kenpachiro Satsuma
known professionally as was a Japanese actor and stuntman. He is best known for portraying Godzilla (Heisei), Godzilla in all seven of the Godzilla (franchise)#Heisei era (1984–1995), Heisei films. Born in Kagoshima Prefecture, Satsuma began his acting career in the 1960s with small roles in samurai films. In 1971 he was offered the role of the smog monster antagonist Hedorah in ''Godzilla vs. Hedorah'', opposite Haruo Nakajima as Godzilla. He went on to play Gigan in two further Godzilla films. When Nakajima retired from the Godzilla role in 1972, substitutes were hired between 1973 and 1975 until Satsuma took over permanently in 1984. His portrayal took the character away from the humor of the character's portrayals over the past decades, returning to the more animalistic Godzilla persona of the original 1954 film.
