Bindal Municipality
Bindal is a municipality in the Helgeland region in the extreme southwest part of Nordland county, Norway. The administrative centre is the village of Terråk. Other villages include Bindalseidet, Holm, Vassås, Horsfjord and Åbygda. The municipality is the 81st largest by area out of the 357 municipalities in Norway. Bindal is the 306th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 1,399. The municipality's population density is and its population has decreased by 10% over the previous 10-year period. The Bindal (aka Bendalgubber) are the Aboriginal Australian people whose ancestors originally possessed, occupied, used and enjoyed approximately 2600 km2 of coastal country from the mouth of the Burdekin River north to Cape Cleveland, inland to Leichhardt Range, in the state of Queensland Country The Bindal people's coastal country includes the Burdekin River's outlet in the south, running northwards as far as Cape Cleveland and inland to the Leichhardt Range. Rajeev Bindal is the President of Himachal Pradesh BJP. He is five term member of the HP legislative assembly and has been the speaker of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. He is member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bindal was a minister of health and family welfare in Government of Himachal Pradesh, India. Rajesh Bindal
Rajesh Bindal (born 16 April 1961) is a judge of Supreme Court of India. He is the former chief justice of Allahabad High Court. He has also earlier served as the acting chief justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court and the Calcutta High Court. Career Bindal was appointed a judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in 2006. On 11 November, he was recommended for a transfer to the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, the common high court for the union territories of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Jammu and Kashmir. On 9 December 2020, Bindal was appointed by the President of India to serve as the acting chief justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court following the retirement of Gita Mittal.
