Bimal Mukherjee
Bimal Mukherjee (; 1903–1987) was the first Indian globe trotter to travel the entire world on a bicycle from the year 1926 to 1937. Though born in Odisha his ancestral house was at Pataldanga street, Calcutta, Kolkata, West Bengal.Du Chakai Duniya, by Bimal Mukherjee, Swarnakshar Prakashani Private Limited, June 1987, He wrote the book ''Du Chakay Duniya'' about his experiences. The world voyage started on bicycle from Town Hall, Calcutta on 12 December 1926 and halted at Chandannagar for the first night. He and his three friends Ashok Mukherjee, Ananda Mukherjee and Manindra Ghosh had crossed the Bohemia, Bohemian Alps in bicycles wearing flannel shirts and no woolen clothing in the month of December. They had kept warm by cycling vigorously and alternated keeping one hand in their pockets to prevent frostbite. When asked how they did the amazing feat. Mae (stylized mae) is an American rock band that formed in Norfolk, Virginia in 2001. The band's name is an acronym for "Multisensory Aesthetic Experience", based on a course taken by drummer Jacob Marshall while a student at Old Dominion University. History Early years with Tooth and Nail (2001–2006) Jacob Marshall and Dave Elkins began what would become Mae by writing their first song, "Embers and Envelopes", in Marshall's living room. Chandan Biswas (born 5 November 1985) is a Bengali Adventure sports personnel and Travel Writer. He became the first to complete the Solo Trans-Himalaya Cycling Expedition. He directed a documentary film ''Charaiveti'' based on his own adventurous journey. Expeditions Biswas started adventure sports since 2010. He involves with mountaineering, rock climbing and mountain cycling also. Biswas was the first to successfully complete the Solo Trans-Himalaya Cycling Expedition. It took him 153 days extend over February 2017 to July 2017. In this journey Biswas cycled 6,249 km spanning the countries of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and India. Ramnath Biswas
Ramnath Biswas (; 13 January 1894 – 1 November 1955) was an Indian revolutionary, soldier, globetrotter and travelogue writer. He is known for circumnavigating the globe by bicycle. Early life Ramnath was born to Birajanath Biswas and Gunamayee Devi in the year 1894 in the Vidyabhusanpara village of Baniachong in the Sylhet District of Assam which now falls under Habiganj District of Bangladesh. In his childhood he attended the Harischandra High School till the eighth grade. He had to quit studies due to the untimely death of his father. Career Ramnath started his career as a manager at the Jatiya Bhandar Samiti, a Swadeshi enterprise based in Sylhet.
