Billy Martin (tennis)
Billy Martin (born December 25, 1956) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. During his career, he won the NCAA Singles Title in 1975, defeating George Hardie, and one singles title and three doubles titles on the Pro Tour. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 32 in 1975. Martin currently serves as the head coach for the UCLA Bruins men's tennis team, a position he has held since 1994. Martin, who played at UCLA, has 14 straight top 5 NCAA team finishes and 9 consecutive 20-win seasons. The Denver Open, also known as the Denver WCT or by its sponsored name United Bank Tennis Classic, was a WCT and Grand Prix affiliated men's tennis tournament played from 1972 to 1982. The Belgian Open or Belgian International was a tennis tournament founded in 1899 as a combined men's and women's clay court tennis tournament. Peter Blair Fleming (born January 21, 1955, in Chatham Borough, New Jersey) is an American former professional tennis player. In his doubles partnership with John McEnroe, he won 52 titles, of which seven were at Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slams (four at Wimbledon Championships, Wimbledon, three at the US Open (tennis), US Open). As a singles player, he peaked at world No. 8, winning three titles (including the 1979 Cincinnati Open). James "Chico" Hagey (born February 25, 1953) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Biography Hagey, known by his nickname "Chico" which he has had since birth, was originally from Illinois but moved to San Diego at the age of nine and went to La Jolla High School. The national boys' championship winner in 1969, Hagey reached the number one junior ranking during the 1971 season. He attended Stanford University in the early 1970s and became a key member of the varsity tennis team, which won the Division 1 titles in 1973 and 1974. Thomas Samuel Okker (born 22 February 1944), nicknamed "the Flying Dutchman", is a Dutch former tennis player who was active from the mid-1960s until 1980. He won the 1973 French Open Doubles, the 1976 US Open Doubles, and two gold medals at the 1965 Maccabiah Games in Israel.
