Billy Broadbent
William Henry Broadbent (20 November 1901 – March 1979) was an English professional footballer who played as a utility player in the Football League, most notably for Clapton Orient. Over the course of his career, Broadbent played every position bar goalkeeper. Brentford is a suburban town in West London, England and part of the London Borough of Hounslow. It lies at the confluence of the River Brent and the Thames, west of Charing Cross. The Football League First Division was the top division of the Football League in England from 1888 until the end of the 1991–92 season, when its teams broke away to form the Premier League. The Third Division South of the Football League was a tier in the English football league system from 1921 to 1958. It ran in parallel with the Third Division North with clubs elected to the League or relegated from Division Two allocated to one or the other according to geographical position.
