Billionaire Boys Racing is a Thai auto racing team based in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The team has raced in the TCR International Series, since 2017. The team also races in the TCR Thailand Touring Car Championship and Thailand Super Series. TCR Thailand Touring Car Championship Having first entered the championship in 2016, running a single Honda Civic TCR, driver Chariya Nuya had an impressive debut in the Am class, finishing first and third in the two races. They returned in 2017 running an updated Honda Civic Type-R TCR for 2016 driver Chariya Nuya. With Nuya having taken several overall victories and pole positions, while still entered in the Am class. TCR International Series
The TCR International Series was an international touring car championship. The championship was promoted by World Sporting Consulting (WSC), founded by former World Touring Car Championship manager Marcello Lotti. It was marketed as a cost-effective spin-off of the WTCC, targeted at C-segment hatchbacks production-based touring cars. The title TCR follows the naming convention now used by the FIA to classify the cars that compete in touring car racing, with TC1 referring to the top tier as used by the FIA WTCC and TC2 referring to the legacy cars which principally compete in the FIA ETCC. On 6th December 2017, FIA's World Motorsport Council announced that the series will merge with World Touring Car Championship and European Touring Car Cup starting in 2018. Chariya Nuya
Chariya Nuya (born 25 October 1987) is a Thai racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series and TCR Thailand Touring Car Championship. Racing career Nuya began his career in 2016 in the TCR Thailand Touring Car Championship, driving a Honda Civic TCR for Billionaire Boys Racing, he took his first victory in his first race in the series' Am class. For the 2017 season he stayed in the TCR Thailand Touring Car Championship, driving an updated Honda Civic Type-R TCR still run by Billionaire Boys Racing. 2017 TCR International Series
The 2017 TCR International Series was the third and the last season of the TCR International Series. Stefano Comini entered the season as defending double champion, but finished only third in the standings with 30 points behind the new champion Jean-Karl Vernay, who won the title with a race to spare in the Dubai round, and Attila Tassi. Comini and Tassi were separated by only one point. In the teams' standings Hungarian team M1RA managed to secure the title in Dubai, beating the previous champions Craft-Bamboo Racing by 62 points. Honda Civic (ninth Generation)
The ninth-generation Honda Civic is a range of compact cars (C-segment) manufactured by Honda between 2011 and 2017, replacing the eighth-generation Civic. It was launched in the North American market in April 2011, Europe in February 2012 and Asia-Pacific in early 2012. Four body styles were introduced throughout its production run, which are sedan, coupe, hatchback and a station wagon version marketed as the Civic Tourer. The latter two makes up for the European-market Civic range, which was produced in Swindon, United Kingdom and received a completely different design and smaller exterior size.
