Bill Tobin (American Football)
William Hugh Tobin (February 16, 1941 – April 19, 2024) was an American professional football player and executive in the National Football League (NFL). Tobin played running back for one season with the Houston Oilers. He later became director of player personnel for the Chicago Bears in 1987 and the Detroit Lions in 2001 and the general manager of the Indianapolis Colts in 1994. Vincent Michael Tobin (September 29, 1943 – July 3, 2023) was an American professional football coach who was the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). During his four decades of coaching, he primarily served as a defensive coordinator in the NFL, United States Football League (USFL), and Canadian Football League (CFL). He was also a defensive coordinator at his alma mater, the University of Missouri, where he had played college football as a defensive back for the Missouri Tigers. Jim Johnson (May 26, 1941July 28, 2009) was an American professional football player and coach in the National Football League (NFL). He was a defensive coordinator for nine seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. Widely regarded as one of the best defensive coordinators in NFL history, he was especially known for being a master architect of blitzes, disguising them skillfully and keeping offenses off balance.
