Bill Reineke
William F. Reineke (born October 9, 1954) is the Senator of the 26th district of the Ohio State Senate. A member of the Reineke family that has owned the Reineke auto dealerships for decades, he made his first run for public office for state representative in 2014. When incumbent Republican Rex Damschroder failed to qualify for the ballot in 2014, Reineke decided to run to replace him. He won the primary election with 48% of the vote in a three way primary, including a win against Damschroder's wife. Reineke went on to win the general election with 58% of the vote. David Burke (politician)
David E. Burke (born July 26, 1967) served as State Senator for the 26th District of the Ohio Senate. He formerly served in the Ohio House of Representatives. He is the Chairman of the Senate Finance Medicaid subcommittee. Life and career Burke received his bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University and his master's degree in Business Administration from Capital University. Burke owned Dave's Pharmacy in Marysville, Ohio from 1997 through 2020, and served on Marysville City Council from 2004 to 2008. Burke served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2009 to 2011, and has served in the Ohio Senate from 2011 through 2020. He currently serves as a Union County Commissioner. The Ohio Senate is the upper house of the Ohio General Assembly. The State Senate, which meets in the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, first convened in 1803. Senators are elected for four year terms, staggered every two years such that half of the seats are contested at each election. Even numbered seats and odd numbered seats are contested in separate election years. The president of the Ohio Senate presides over the body when in session, and is currently Matt Huffman. Currently, the Senate consists of 25 Republicans and eight Democrats, with the Republicans controlling three more seats than the 22 required for a supermajority vote. Richard Michael DeWine (; born January 5, 1947) is an American politician and attorney serving as the 70th and current governor of Ohio. A member of the Republican Party, DeWine began his career as a prosecutor before being elected to the Ohio Senate. Larry Householder
Larry Lee Householder (born June 6, 1959) is an American politician who was the state representative for Ohio's 72nd district and was a two-time Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives. He is a member of the Republican Party. Householder represented the same district from 1997 to 2004, including as speaker from 2001 to 2004. In 2016, he was elected to the Statehouse again and on January 7, 2019, he was selected to serve again as speaker. His district included Coshocton and Perry counties, as well as about half of Licking County. On July 21, 2020, the FBI arrested Householder on federal RICO charges.
