Bill Gregory
William Penn Gregory, Jr. (born December 14, 1949) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks. He played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers. Early years Gregory attended Lincoln High School where he practiced football, basketball and track. He enrolled at the University of Wisconsin, where he was named the starter at defensive tackle as a sophomore and finished second on the team in tackles with 75 (48 solo). In 1969, he was named a team captain. He led the team in tackles with 102 (58 solo), receiving honorable mention All-Big Ten and second-team Big Ten All-Academic honors. In 1970, he was moved to defensive end, posting 53 solo tackles and 55 assists, receiving All-Big Ten and third-team All-American honors. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that typically lines up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the Guard (American football), offensive guards; however, he may also line up opposite one of the offensive Tackle (gridiron football position), tackles. Harvey Martin
Harvey Banks Martin (November 16, 1950 – December 24, 2001) was an American professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys from 1973 until 1983. He starred at South Oak Cliff High School and East Texas State University, before becoming an All-Pro with the Cowboys. George Andrie
George Joseph Andrie (April 20, 1940 – August 21, 2018) was an American professional football defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. Prior to his NFL career he played college football at Marquette University, which dropped its program after his junior season. Early life Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Andrie graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1958. Jethro Pugh Jr. (July 3, 1944 – January 7, 2015) was an American professional football defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys for fourteen seasons. He played college football at Elizabeth City State College. Early life and college Born on July 3, 1944, in Windsor, North Carolina, the son of Jethro Sr. and Mamie (Coggins) Pugh. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played.
