Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky Seaport
The Seaport Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi () is a seaport in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Ukraine. It is located on the north-western shore of Black Sea at Dniester Estuary, to the south-west from Odesa. Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Seaport is mainly a freight seaport. Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority
The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority ( USPA, ) is a state company created in 2013 after the adoption of the law "On Sea Ports of Ukraine" and united all ports of Ukraine under one administration. Total throughput of 13 seaports in 2019 exceeded 160 million tons. The mission of USPA is to facilitate the development of Ukraine's maritime transport infrastructure and increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian sea ports in the Azov-Black Sea basin by means of creating necessary conditions for the economic activity of maritime terminals and enterprises whose main products and/or raw materials are subject to exports-imports transactions being handled in the sea ports as cargo. A dockworker (also called a longshoreman, stevedore, docker, wharfman, lumper or wharfie) is a waterfront manual laborer who loads and unloads ships. Dniester Estuary
Dniester Estuary, or Dniester Liman (; ) is a liman, formed at the point where the river Dniester flows into the Black Sea. It is located in Ukraine, in Odesa Oblast, and connects Budjak to the Ukrainian mainland. The city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi lies on its western shore and Ovidiopol on its eastern shore. Shabo, situated downstream of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, is known for its wine. The estuary hosts the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky Seaport. The area of the liman varies between 360 and 408 km2, it is 42.5 km long and has maximum width of 12 km. The average depth is 1.8 m, the maximum depth 2.7 m. Zatoka (; or ) is a rural settlement in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Raion, Odesa Oblast, in southwestern Ukraine. It belongs to Karolino-Buhaz rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Karolino-Buhaz rural hromada () is a rural hromada in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Raion of Odesa Oblast in southwestern Ukraine. It contains two rural-type settlements: Karolino-Buhaz (the administrative center) and Zatoka. Population: Until 18 July 2020, the hromada belonged to Ovidiopol Raion.
