The 12441 / 12442 Bilaspur-New Delhi Rajdhani Express is a Rajdhani Express train belonging to Indian Railways – Northern Railway zone that runs between and in India. It operates as train number 12441 from Bilaspur Junction to New Delhi and as train number 12442 in the reverse direction, serving the states of Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. It is the fastest train on the Bilaspur - Delhi via Nagpur route. Currently this is the only Rajdhani in the entire Indian Railway network to have a zig zag (railway), locomotive and rake reversal. The reversal for both the trains occurs at Nagpur Junction (NGP). The Rajdhani Express () is a series of passenger train services in India operated by Indian Railways connecting the national capital New Delhi with the capitals or the largest cities of various states. The Indian locomotive class WAP-7 is a class of 25 kV AC electric locomotives that was developed in 1999 by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) for Indian Railways. The model name stands for broad gauge (W), AC Current (A), Passenger traffic (P) locomotive, 7th generation (7). They entered service in 2000. A total of 1909 WAP-7 have been built, with more units being built at CLW, Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) and Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW).
