Bikeride
Bikeride was an American indie rock band fronted by Tony Carbone. Their record companies of the past have included is Hidden Agenda, a part of Parasol Records, and Choclaty! Records. Bikeride's newest album, ''The Kiss'', has been released on SHMAMM! Records, Bikeride's own imprint. History Bikeride was formed in 1994 by Tony Carbone (guitar, vocals), Bill Sipes (bass), and Craig Hendricks (drums) in Fountain Valley, CA. That lineup split by the end of the year.Ian Spaldingjoined up on bass and Greg Roberts took over drums. Both Ian and Greg had played with Carbone in high school as Catherine Wheel (before the British band of the same name) and as Chelsea Hotel. The Aquabats
The Aquabats are an American Rock music, rock band formed in Huntington Beach, California, in 1994. Throughout many fluctuations in the group's line-up, singer Christian Jacobs, the MC Bat Commander and bassist Chad Larson, Crash McLarson have remained the band's two constant fixtures. As of 2024, the Aquabats' members include saxophonist Jimmy the Robot, drummer Richard Falomir, Ricky Fitness, guitarists Ian Fowles, Eaglebones Falconhawk and Courtney Pollock, Chainsaw, the Prince of Karate, trumpeter Boyd Terry, Cat Boy and keyboardist Gorney. Easily identified by their masks and matching costumes, the Aquabats are perhaps most recognized for their comedic persona in which they claim to be crime-fighting superheroes. Adam Deibert
Adam Deibert (born August 12, 1976) is an American musician and voice actor, known for his work as a member of The Aquabats from 1994 to 2004, where he played guitar, trumpet and keyboards under the stage name of Prince Adam, and as the bass guitarist for the indie rock band Bikeride, among other projects. He also played trumpet in the Orange County Ska band The Goodwin Club in the early nineties. Deibert worked as a composer for the Nick Jr. children's series ''Yo Gabba Gabba!'', as well as providing the voice for the character of Muno the Cyclops. An educated musician, Deibert studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara as a music composition major. Solo projects Digital Unicorn Electronic duo Digital Unicorn came into existence after an opening band at an Aquabats show was unable to attend. Parasol Records is an American independent record label based in Urbana, Illinois. The label was founded by Geoff Merritt as an outgrowth of the catalog Parasol Mail Order (which was started in 1991). Catherine Wheel (band)
Catherine Wheel were an English alternative rock band from Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. The band was active from 1990 to 2000, releasing five full-length albums in their career, embarking on many lengthy tours and experiencing fluctuating levels of commercial success. Their early music was associated with the shoegazing scene, but gradually evolved to a more aggressive style influenced by hard rock and metal. Initially receiving attention and success after releasing their debut album ''Ferment'' in 1992, the band achieved peak success with the release of " Crank" and their album '' Chrome'' in 1993. ''Mojo'' (stylised in all caps) is a popular music magazine published monthly in the United Kingdom, initially by Emap, and since January 2008 by Bauer. Following the success of the magazine '' Q'', publishers Emap were looking for a title that would cater for the burgeoning interest in classic rock music. The magazine was designed to appeal to the 30 to 45-plus age group, or the baby boomer generation. ''Mojo'' was first published on 15 October 1993.
