Big Trouble (band)
Big Trouble was an American female pop group, who recorded one album and released a total of two minor hit singles. History Like the formation of 60s group The Monkees, Big Trouble was an all-female pop group put together by TV executive Fred Silverman. The group consisted of vocalist Bobbie Eakes, bassist Julia Farey, keyboardist Rebecca Ryan and drummer Suzy Zarow. Eakes was originally Miss Georgia (U.S. state), Miss Georgia in 1983. After deciding on all band members except the vocalist, Silverman auditioned approximately five hundred vocalists, where Eakes was the one to win the part. The band made their start on the Mack Dryden, Mack & Jamie Alcroft, Jamie comedy show; they would often appear as the "house band" on the series ''Comedy Break'', and Eakes would occasionally appear as a performer in the sketches. ''Big Trouble'' is the debut and only studio album by the female pop group Big Trouble, released by Epic in 1987. Background Like the formation of 60s group The Monkees, Big Trouble was an all female pop group put together by TV executive Fred Silverman. The group consisted of vocalist Bobbie Eakes, bassist Julia Farey, keyboardist Rebecca Ryan and drummer Suzy Zarow. Shortly after their formation, the band signed to Epic Records and recorded an album. The album was released on vinyl and CD in America, the UK and Europe, although it remains out-of-print today. The album was released to commercial failure, and therefore became the band's only album. The lead single was " Crazy World" which peaked at #71 in America. The second single was " When the Love Is Good" which failed to make any impact, although it did peak at #83 in the UK. As a follow-up to the single, "Crazy World" was released in the UK shortly after, where it peaked at #96. A music video was created for both singles. ...

Hollywood Monsters was an American hard rock supergroup from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2013. The band members include Steph Honde (vocals, guitars), Don Airey (keyboards; Deep Purple, previously played in Whitesnake, Gary Moore, Ozzy Osbourne, Michael Schenker Group), Danko Jones (vocals), Ronnie Robson (bass), Vinny Appice (drums; previously played in Dio, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, Kill Devil Hill, and others), and Tim Bogert (bass; previously played in Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, and Beck, Bogert & Appice). ''Big Trouble'' is a 1986 American comedy film and the last film for director John Cassavetes. The cast reunites Peter Falk and Alan Arkin, costars of '' The In-Laws'', and also features Beverly D'Angelo, Charles Durning and Valerie Curtin. The film's plot is so similar to that of ''Double Indemnity'' that, prior to production, Columbia Pictures requested that Universal Pictures (rightsholder for ''Double Indemnity'') grant a license to reuse the plot of the earlier film. ''Big Trouble: A Murder in a Small Western Town Sets Off a Struggle for the Soul of America'' is a 1997 non-fiction book by J. Anthony Lukas, published by Simon & Schuster. The book discusses the assassination of Frank Steunenberg in 1905 and the resulting trial. Background As part of his research Lukas used historical documents with the total number of pages numbering in the thousands. Lukas committed suicide while in the process of finishing the last revision.
