Big Brother Records
Big Brother Recordings Ltd. is a British record label set up in 2000 to release material by rock band Oasis in the UK and Ireland. On 19 June 2008 a deal was signed with Sony BMG which entitled them to an arranged portion of the profits from the next three Oasis studio albums to be released through Big Brother. The name of the company is a reference to the band's guitarist, singer and songwriter Noel Gallagher, who is the older brother of lead singer Liam Gallagher. The catalogue number of each release begins with "RKID", which stands for "our kid"; Northern England slang to refer to a brother. The imprint was started after Alan McGee announced on 25 November 1999 that he was leaving Creation Records, Oasis' original record company. Be Here Now (album)
''Be Here Now'' is the third studio album by the English rock band Oasis, released on 21 August 1997 by Creation Records. The album was recorded at multiple recording studios in London, including Abbey Road Studios, as well as Ridge Farm Studio in Surrey. Although most tracks retain the anthemic quality of previous releases, the songs on ''Be Here Now'' are longer and contain many guitar overdubs. Noel Gallagher said this was done to make the album sound as "colossal" as possible. The album cover features a shot of the band members at Stocks House in Hertfordshire. It is the last Oasis studio album to feature founding members guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs and bassist Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan as the two left in 1999. "Sunday Morning Call" is a song by the English rock band Oasis, released as the third and final single from their fourth studio album, ''Standing on the Shoulder of Giants''. It reached number four on the UK Singles Chart, number five in Italy, and number 20 in Ireland. "Who Feels Love?" is a song by English rock band Oasis, written by the band's lead guitarist Noel Gallagher. It served as the second single from their fourth studio album, ''Standing on the Shoulder of Giants'' (2000). the7stars is UK's largest independent media agency. The agency provides media and advertising services to clients, including media planning and buying, creative strategy and content creation, partnerships, insight and analytics, and strategic services. History the7stars was launched in London in 2005 by Jenny Biggam, Mark Jarvis, and Colin Mils, along with a group of senior management from media agency Carat UK, who founded the organization to compete with independent media agencies. Jay Darlington
Jay Peter Darlington (born 3 May 1968) is an English keyboardist, best known as a member of Kula Shaker. He went on to work as a touring member of Oasis and is currently a member of the Totnes, Devon based prog band Magic Bus. History Darlington attended Oxted County Senior School in Oxted, Surrey, England. He joined Kula Shaker as an organ player in 1994 and stayed with the band until their initial split in 1999. He didn't re-join the band when they reformed in 2004, and being replaced by Harry Broadbent during his absence. In 2002, Darlington joined Oasis as a live keyboardist. He toured with the band up until their last tour in the summer of 2009. He also played in a Les Fleur de Lys reunion gig, and joined prog band Magic Bus. In December 2022 he rejoined Kula Shaker playing a show in Norwich. The song was released as a download-only single on 21 October 2007 and was also released on a limited edition 12-inch single in promotion of the release of Oasis' rockumentary of the same name, '' Lord Don't Slow Me Down''. The song debuted at number ten in the UK Singles Chart, becoming Oasis' 21st UK top 10 and first single by the band not to reach the top 4 since 1994's "Cigarettes & Alcohol". It was also Oasis' first stand alone non-album single since " Whatever" in 1994. ''Lord Don't Slow Me Down'' is a rockumentary film, looking back on British rock band Oasis' ''Don't Believe the Truth'' world tour which took place from May 2005 to March 2006. The film is directed by Baillie Walsh. Shack (band)
Shack is an English band from Liverpool, formed in 1987 by brothers Mick and John Head. Emerging from the cult 1980s band The Pale Fountains, Shack experienced various lineup changes and challenges, including the loss of early recordings in a studio fire.
