''Big Brother 14'' is the fourteenth season of the American reality television series '' Big Brother''. The season premiered on July 12, 2012, broadcast on CBS, and ended with a 90-minute season finale on September 19, 2012, after 75 days of competition. Julie Chen returned as host. On September 19, 2012, Ian Terry was crowned the winner defeating season 10 winner Dan Gheesling in a 6-1 jury vote, earning the latter the distinction of being the first person to reach the Final Two twice. Frank Eudy was voted as the season's America's Favorite HouseGuest. Format HouseGuests were sequestered in the Big Brother House with no contact to or from the outside world. Each week, the HouseGuests took part in several compulsory challenges that determine who will win food, luxuries, and power in the House.
