Big Brother (Slovenian TV Series) Season 2
''Big Brother 2'' ran for 92 days, starting on March 14, 2008, and ending on June 14, 2008. The host of the show was Nina Osenar. The prize was 92,000 Euro. This season the ''Big Brother'' house was divided into two sides the rich side and the poor side. There were thirteen housemates who entered the house on day one and four who entered at later dates. As an added twist this season two of the contestants (Tamara and Tjasa) were related. Also, Mateja who entered the house in week six was the girlfriend of housemate EITyeb. The winner of this season was Naske Mehić. Housemates First Batch The following housemates entered the house on Day 1. Dada Dada Perić is a 24-year-old from Koper, Slovenia. During her stay in the Big brother house Dada was never on the poor side of the house following the division of the house. Kanal A
Kanal A is the first Slovenian commercial television station. The channel, which operates within PRO PLUS d.o.o., has national coverage. Its primary target group are viewers 18–49 years. Viewers can watch news on Svet, which is broadcast on working days. Kanal A is home of sport as UEFA Champions League games are being broadcast on the channel, while sports fans can also enjoy MotoGP and Moto2 races as well as variety of other sports. Channel offers different TV series and movies. History Viewers have been able to watch Kanal A since 16 May 1991. It was a completely new element on the Slovenian television market and at the time, the first independent television station on the territory of former Yugoslavia. Dutovlje
Dutovlje (; ) is a settlement in the Municipality of Sežana in the Littoral region of Slovenia close to the border with Italy. Name Dutovlje was attested in written sources in 1281 as ''Dietemdorf'' (and as ''Dietindorf'' in 1284, ''de Dotoglan'' and ''de Dothoglan'' in 1300, ''Iuris de Dotolan'' in 1316–17, ''de Doutolan'' in 1317, and ''Dyetendorf'' in 1370). Dramlje
Dramlje (; ) is one of the most populous settlements in the Municipality of Šentjur, in eastern Slovenia. The settlement, and the entire municipality, are included in the Savinja Statistical Region, which is in the Slovenian portion of the historical Duchy of Styria. Name The name of the settlement was changed from ''Šent Ilj'' (literally, 'Saint Giles') to ''Dramlje'' in 1955. The name was changed on the basis of the 1948 Law on Names of Settlements and Designations of Squares, Streets, and Buildings as part of efforts by Slovenia's postwar communist government to remove religious elements from toponyms. Before the name ''Dramlje'' () was applied to the settlement, it was a regional name referring to a broad region north of Šentjur, stretching from Vojnik to Ponikva. Malečnik
Malečnik (, ) is a village on the left bank of the Drava River east of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Maribor. There are two churches in the settlement. The local parish church is dedicated to Saint Peter and was first mentioned in documents dating to 1236, but the current building is Baroque and was built in 1740. Novo Mesto
Novo Mesto (; ; also known by #Name, alternative names) is the List of cities and towns in Slovenia, seventh-largest city of Slovenia. Koper
Koper (; ) is the List of cities and towns in Slovenia, fifth-largest city in Slovenia. ''Big Brother'' is a reality show shown on Kanal A in which a number of contestants live in an isolated house trying to avoid being evicted by the public with the aim of winning a large cash prize at the end of the run. It is based on the international Big Brother (TV series), ''Big Brother'' format produced by Endemol. It first aired on March 17, 2007. The first Slovenian season of ''Big Brother'' ran 85 days, started on March 17, 2007 and ended on June 9, 2007. The host of the show is Nina Osenar. The prize is 75,000 Euro.
