Big Brother (Belgian Season 2)
''Big Brother 2'' is the second season of the Belgian version of ''Big Brother'' aired in the Flemish Region of Belgium on Kanaal 2. The show started on 2 September 2001 and finished on 16 December 2001 with a total duration of 106 days. Changes for this season making it harder to live for housemates: add an isolation cell, lower the budget of the group and add the opening twist (eleven male housemates and only one female housemate on opening night, but changed at the end of the week by having six male and five female housemates). Those measures impacted the group dynamic in many ways. An exception was made about the news of the outside world, when producers decided to inform the housemates about 911 since a family member of one of the housemates was involved. Kanaal 2
VTM 2 (formerly Q2) is a Belgian television channel owned by the commercial broadcasting company DPG Media. History The channel was originally known as Kanaal 2. However, it has undergone several rebrandings over the years. At launch in 1995, the channel was branded as Ka2 (Dutch pronunciation of K2), then Kanaal 2. In 2001, it was branded KANAALTWEE. On 12 February 2008 the channel changed its name to 2BE, retaining the 2 but referring to the Belgian ISO Country Code BE. In September 2016, the channel changed its name to Q2. This was an extension of the Qmusic radio station brand owned by Medialaan. On 31 August 2020, Q2 rebranded as VTM 2, as part of a rebranding of the 4 main DPG channels. Programming Since its parent company also owns VTM (as well as radio channels), it's not uncommon for programs (especially reruns) to be passed on from one channel to another. Sint-Truiden (; french: link=no, Saint-Trond ; li, Sintruin ) is a city and municipality located in the province of Limburg, Flemish Region, Belgium, and has over 41,500 inhabitants, which makes it one of the largest cities in Limburg. Langemark
Langemark is a village in the Belgian province of West Flanders, and a subdivision of the municipality of Langemark-Poelkapelle. The village has about 5,000 inhabitants. Rumst (, old spelling: ''Rumpst'') is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. Since 1976 the municipality not only comprises Rumst proper but also the towns of (old spelling: ''Reeth'') and , which were independent municipalities before that year.
