Bibhu Kumari Devi
Bibhu Kumari Devi (born 28 June 1944) is the current head of the Royal Family of Tripura, Indian National Congress politician and former member of the 10th Lok Sabha. Early life Daughter to Raja Lav Shah, Bibhu Kumari was born on 28 June 1944 in Mussoorie (then in United Provinces). She's the daughter-in-law of Bir Bikram Kishore Debbarman and graduated from the Isabella Thoburn College in Lucknow. Career Devi is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) and entered the Tripura Legislative Assembly in 1983. The same year she was included in the All India Congress Committee. From 1989 to 1991, she served as the Minister for Revenue and Local Self-Government in the Tripura state government, when the INC made her its candidate for the 1991 general elections from Tripura East constituency reserved for scheduled tribes. Kanchan Prava Devi
Maharani Kanchan Prava Devi was a Queen of Tripura as the wife of Bir Bikram Kishore Debbarma, King of Tripura State. After her husband's death in 1947, she was regent of Tripura until it was merged with India in 1949. Life She was the daughter of Maharaja Yadvendra Singh. She married Bir Bikram Kishore Debbarma, King of Tripura State, who became king in 1923. In 1947, her spouse died. Rudrasagar Lake, also known as Twijilikma, is a lake located in Melaghar, Tripura, India. The Government of India's Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has identified Rudrasagar as one of the wetlands of National Importance for conservation and sustainable use based on its bio-diversity and socio economic importance. The secretary general of the Ramsar Convention has declared Rudrasagar Lake as a wetland of international importance. Neermahal (''Twijilikma Nuyung''; lit. "Water Palace") is a former royal palace built by Maharaja of Tripura Kingdom '' Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya bahadur'' of the erstwhile Kingdom of Tripura, India in the middle of the lake Twijilikma (Now known as Rudrasagar) in the 1930s. Kirit Bikram Kishore Deb Barman
Maharaja Kirit Bikram Kishore Manikya Deb Barma Bahadur (13 December 1933 – 28 November 2006) was the 185th and last King of Tripura, a princely state in northeastern India. His formal coronation was held in 1941, but he never gained the powers of a king. Political career He succeeded his father, Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Debbarman. He was the nominal king for two years until the state's merger into India in 1949.
