Biathlon World Championships 2024 – Men's Mass Start
The Men's mass start competition at the Biathlon World Championships 2024 will be held on 18 February 2024. Sebastian Samuelsson was the defending champion. He did not defend his title, finishing the competition in 23rd place. Reigning Olympic champion in mass start Johannes Thingnes Bø from Norway became the new world champion. He won his 20th championship gold medal, equaling Ole Einar Bjørndalen for first place with the most world championship gold medals in history. Simon Eder
Simon Eder (born 23 February 1983) is an Austrian biathlete. Career His first World Cup win was in the Khanty-Mansiysk mass-start race on 29 March 2009. Eder represented Austria at the 2010 Winter Olympics and in 2014 Winter Olympics. He won 2 medals: silver in the Men's relay in 2010, and a bronze in Men's relay in 2014.
