Bianca Lamblin
Bianca Lamblin (born Bienenfeld; 1921 – 5 November 2011) was a French writer who had affairs with philosophers Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir for a number of years. In her book ''Mémoires d'une jeune fille dérangée'' (published in English as ''A Disgraceful Affair''), she wrote that, while a student at Lycée Molière, she was sexually exploited by her teacher Beauvoir, who was in her 30s.Rodgers, N., & Thompson, M. ''Le Monde'' (; ) is a French daily afternoon newspaper. It is the main publication of Le Monde Group and reported an average circulation of 323,039 copies per issue in 2009, about 40,000 of which were sold abroad. Raoul Lévy
Raoul Levy (14 April 1922 – 31 December 1966) was a French film producer, writer and director best known for a series of movies he made starring Brigitte Bardot. He was born in Antwerp. Biography He committed suicide after losing most of his fortune making a film about the life of Marco Polo. He shot himself in the chest outside the front door of the St Tropez house of Isabelle Pons, who had recently ended a two-year affair with Levy. Levy was survived by a wife and fifteen-year-old son. Yvonne Picard
Yvonne Picard (1 August 1920 – 9 March 1943) was a French philosopher and a member of the French Resistance during the Second World War. She and her brother, the historian Gilbert Charles-Picard, were the children of the archaeologist Charles Picard. Yvonne Picard was born in Athens, Greece, her father being head of the French School at Athens at the time. She obtained a degree in Philosophy and became an adherent of Marxism. She began teaching at the École normale supérieure at Sèvres. In 1941, she joined the "Socialisme et Liberté" group founded by the philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre, and also joined the Resistance. She soon left Sartre's group, believing it "amateurish", instead joining the Communist Youth. The police traced her through her connection with a member of the Francs-Tireurs et Partisans, and obtained her address from her unsuspecting parents.
