Emmanuel Bez Idakula, known as Bez (born 10 November 1983), is a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and composer, working in a genre known as "alternative soul", a hybrid of soul music, soul, rock music, rock, jazz music, jazz and R&B music, R&B. He was featured in ''Pulse'' Magazine as number one on the list of "Top 12 Musicians To Look Out For in 2014". Early life and education Emmanuel Bez Idakula was born in 1983, in Jos in central Nigeria. He grew up in a musically inclined family, listening to gospel music, gospel and country music, country. As a child, he sang in choirs and began playing his father's guitar at the age of nine. Mark Berry (born 18 April 1964), better known as Bez, is an English dancer, DJ and media personality. He is best known as a member of the rock bands Happy Mondays and Black Grape. Early life Mark Berry was born on 18 April 1964 in County Borough of Bolton, Bolton, Lancashire, the son of parents from the Norris Green district of Liverpool. His father was a detective inspector. He grew up in Little Hulton and Walkden, before moving to live with his grandparents in Wigan at the age of 16. Career Bez is best known as the maraca player, dancer, and ''de facto'' mascot of rock band Happy Mondays, having been invited by lead singer Shaun Ryder shortly after the band was formed. He is chiefly remembered for his bizarre style of dancing and use of maracas. The band's second single, "Freaky Dancin'", was rumoured to be a tribute to Bez. Claude Bez
Claude Bez (November 4, 1940 – January 26, 1999), former Bordeaux soccer team chairman, was a personality in French football culture of the 1980s. Biography Claude Bez was born in Saint-Augustin, Bordeaux. His mother died when he was young. His father, Gaston, ran a small accounting firm that was growing quickly with branches in French overseas departments. In his youth he played football for Coqs Rouges. On April 4, 1959, he won the U20 Gironde Cup against Girondins de Bordeaux. He played full-back, was thin and sported a mustache. He left Coqs Rouges for Villenave-d'Ornon, a neighborhood team, and soon devoted himself to a career in accounting. The Bez (also: ''Bès'') is a tributary to the river Drôme in the Drôme department of France. It is long. It has a drainage basin of 278 km². Geography The drainage basin of the Bez lies in the east of the department of Drôme.
