Beyza Karaçamn Gedik (born 15 December 2000), also known as Beyza Gedik, is a Turkish women in sports, Turkish women's team handball, handballer, who plays as right back for IFK Kristianstad in the Swedish Handbollsligan, and the Turkey women's national handball team, Turkey national team as well as the Turkey women's national beach handball team. Personal life Beyza Karaçam (Gedik) was born in Samsun, northern Turkey on 15 December 2000. Club career Karaçam is tall at . World Women's Handball Championship
The IHF Women's Handball World Championship has been organized by the International Handball Federation since 1957. European teams have won every time except 1995 where South Korea won as the first team outside Europe and 2013 where Brazil won as the first American team. The biggest winners are Russia and Norway with four titles each. Nine teams participated in the first championship, this number has grown in steps to 32 (from 2021). In 1977 a B-tournament was introduced and later in 1986 a C-tournament which served as qualification for the real championship or A-tournament. The B- and C-tournament qualifications were replaced by the present qualification system based on continental confederations in 1993. From 1993 it has been held every other year. Stare Jabłonki
Stare Jabłonki is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ostróda, within Ostróda County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Beach handball at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 7 to 13 October in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 20 beach handball teams, total of 200 athletes, participated in the tournament. The beach handball competition took place at the :es:Parque Sarmiento (Buenos Aires), Parque Sarmiento in Saavedra, Buenos Aires, Saavedra. Qualification Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) is limited to participation in 1 team sports (Futsal, Beach handball, Field Hockey, and Rugby Sevens) per each gender with the exception of the host country who can enter one team per sport. Also at Beach handball each NOC can enter a maximum of 1 team of 10 athletes per both genders. The 2024 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland from 28 November to 15 December 2024. This was the first tournament to feature 24 teams. This article describes the qualification for the 2020 European Women's Handball Championship. The qualification was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Qualification system 31 teams registered for participation and competed for 14 places at the final tournament in two distinct Qualification Phases. The group winner of phase 1 advanced to phase 2.
